Just a wild street find this morning, taking the kids to school, a hardbound and protectively wrapped copy of KITSCH by Gillo Dorfles sitting on a junked credenza. The children were unimpressed. But this book had a lot of lessons for me as a kid, like: Mt. Rushmore sucks.
