Oatmeal makes sense, because of all the animals in Animal Farm I empathize most closely with Clover the horse. Clover said: "I will work harder," and plowed ahead, until it was more profitable to put him out to the glue factory.
Today's goal: avoid being so hungry I'm confused. Nothing good will come of that. (At the same time, there is something great about riding my bike when I'm that hungry--the sense of body feasting on itself, mass cell death and nutrients consumed and turned into my-legs-moving-in-a-circular-path; a tiny sensor attached to my shoe would show a sinusoidal path. I will work harder.)
