August 4, 2009 - Lunch
Whole Foods always a mystery for lunch--too many options, many of them bad. Steam trays laden with sweets; lots of "healthful"--but still killers. There was a near-incident with the bread pudding, but I managed to move on to their advanced lesson in queuing theory at checkout, bits in the pipeline. No Diet Coke (had one earlier, unrecorded) but water instead.
Needs to be a term for healthful-in-quotes. Meaning stuff that is organic but fattening and also provided in portions large enough to feed a migrant population.
Gigantic + organic = organtic.
Nutritious + fattening =notricious.
Maybe. Meaning that I am especially challenged by food that is organtic and notricious. Like the healthy cookie sweetened with fruit juices that has enough calories to power a ship.
