"Trees cause more pollution than automobiles do."

Ronald Reagan, 1981
Ah, old man, the time is nigh
For you to bake your final pie.
The crust would be your Irish wit
All bursting hot with steaming shit.
I still remember, as a kid,
I knew that you were off your lid.
We feared that if you strayed from calm,
You'd trip the mighty atom bomb.
And if you launched the bomb atomic,
What good were trickling Reaganomics?
Or surplus cheese for all the poor?
From California's dinosaur.
But somehow we survived the worst,
To find we had an empty purse.
You left us a terrific debt--
At least you've learned how to forget.
