Cuttings from one of the best craft books ever.
In my family, How to Make Something from Nothing, by Frank B. Griffith and Rubye [sic] Mae Griffith, is a legendary artifact. It's, at first glance, a standard “craft ideas” book, but once you begin to read it, you realize that every single craft is the most heinous piece of shit imaginable. When I borrowed this book from my mother, she made me promise to give it back, so in interest of keeping my favorite crafts, over the next month I'm going to introduce a few of my favorites here, with occasional interjections in the descriptions, before I have to give the book back to Mom.
Dancing DolphinAh, how they frolic, those cow jaws.
Giraffes GossipingThey're not gossiping, they're ribbing each other.
