September 15, 2009 - Bicycle ride
Weekday-afternoon rides--I worked from home in the morning--always scare me; the rush hours belong to people on the grind, but at noonday the streets are filled with anglers, sliders, and weavers. And me. Today is my anniversary so I'm particularly afraid of death. [Wife] is home with a fever; our plans are deferred until the weekend. I have made two good decisions in my life. The first was to start writing. The second was to marry [Wife]. A good decision is a decision from which other good decisions flow.
