August 26, 2009 - Bicycle ride

This morning I made a graph. I lose 2/5 lb. daily. Very consistent. Assuming a lb. of fat is 3,500 cals that's 7,000/5, or a 1,400 calorie-per-day deficit. Meaning that to maintain my current weight I'd need to take in 3,500 kcal daily. I think the next 30 lbs. will come off as a result of these new habits. After that it's anyone's guess; the right thing to do, clearly, is start building muscle (aside from the muscles in my legs). I've been fighting against myself regarding this but it's the right time to start. And yet I have no desire. None.
