(via Maxim Siebert) - “Snapchat is looking at a way to recognize objects in your snaps and serve you related ads”
Creepy or Not Creepy? Snapchat’s new patent application could serve up cool filters based on your snaps, or just dole out some frighteningly targeted advertising. Maybe a little bit of both. (via Matt Quintanilla) - “Spotify is going to start playing ads based on all those Nickelback songs you secretly love”
Spotify’s new partnership with a whole collection of ad tech companies means you could soon start seeing ads based on your specific listening habits. Closet Katy Perry fans, beware. (via Cody Cowan) (see also)
