The Church of the Holy Sepulchre
Courtyard of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, built above Golgotha, where Jesus was crucified. If you look closely you’ll see a ladder. After an earthquake well over 100 years ago, a priest went out to repair some damage. Another sect disputed his rights to do so, and claimed he was trespassing. A small war of priests broke out, priest against priest, and when it was over the ladder was left exactly where it was, to remind all future denizens to watch their tempers.
The dome of the Church, rebuilt and repainted only after many years of fighting amongst the faiths.

Mary. I’m not sure which one. There are (admittedly hard to see) jewels on the red velvet before her chest, but only a few, as the original pile of jewelry left by rich pilgrims and foreign governments was stolen several years ago. Rumor has that it was an inside job.
