All I've been doing is riding my bike and eating takeout and still I gain weight? It doesn't make sense. Ah well. Coffee, water, and fiber cereal for breakfast. I can survive without sugar-happiness, I think. I'll just replace the anxiety with more work.

I managed to get H.org moving for real yesterday, after literally months of beating my head against it in confusion. It takes a while to see these things as they are.

There is a tree across Coney Island on Avenue C. It's a fairly dramatic tree. I look forward to this tree now. This is what it means to own a home, I'm realizing: You can form a relationship with a certain tree and assume that, as long as nothing happens to the tree, or to you, that relationship can move forward. It's a big tree.
